This is the link to the "Pertubuhan membership form".... the membership is open for all members born in 1976 and 1977, attended  St Thomas's kindergarten,St Thomas's primary school and secondary school and also have completed Form Five SMB St. Thomas's in 1994...
The membership fees is RM30.00 for one year, With a valid membership will qualify all members to vote and attend AGM in the near future and also will qualify to be able to invest in the "Koperasi" that is under progress....

All membership schould be attach with :

1) Complided application form
2) Passport Size Photo
3) Photocopy of NRIC
4) Full payment of RM30.00

all this should reach the "Pertubuhan Treasurer" for registration and issue of receipt..

Latarbelakang dan Matlamat "PERTUBUHAN ALUMNI THOMIAN 94"

PERTUBUHAN ALUMNI THOMIAN 94

LATARBELAKANG

Cadangan penubuhan pertubuhan ini telah dibangkitkan sewaktu Majlis Makan Malam Ulangtahun ke- 20 Kelas 1994 SMB St Thomas yang diadakan di Garden Heritage BBQ Steamboat, Jalan Nanas, Kuching, pada 19.12.2014 yang lalu.

Selepas itu, usaha telah dijalankan oleh ahli-ahli Jawatankuasa yang telah dilantik pada majlis tersebut, dan akhirnya “Pertubuhan Alumni Thomian 94” telah ditubuhkan dengan rasminya pada 03.02.2015, dibawah kelulusan pihak Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan Negeri Sarawak. Pertubuhan ini diwakili oleh bekas pelajar-pelajar S.M.B. St. Thomas, Kuching, iaitu lepasan Tingkatan 5, Kelas 1994 dan yang di lahirkan pada 1977.

MATLAMAT

Penubuhan Pertubuhan ini adalah bermatlamat untuk:

1. Menyatupadukan bekas pelajar-pelajar “S.M.B. St. Thomas Kuching – Kelas Tingkatan 5 1994 dan yang lahir pada tahun 1977”. (turut merangkumi tadika, sekolah rendah & sekolah menengah)

2. Memupuk semangat persahabatan dan persefahaman di kalangan ahli-ahli.

3. Menjaga kebajikan am ahli-ahli berdasarkan kemampuan dan keupayaanubuhan.

4. Mengadakan aktiviti-aktiviti, kerjasama atau gabungan dengan pertubuhan-pertubuhan berdaftar yang mempunyai tujuan yang sama.

5. Memupuk perpaduan nasional serta mempertingkatkan hubungan persahabatan dan semangat kekitaan melalui progam-program pertubuhan

6. Mengambil bahagian dalam rancangan pembangunan dan kebajikan yang akan memberi faedah kepada ahli pertubuhan dan komuniti.

BACKGROUND

The proposed establishment of this organization have been raised during the Dinner 20th Anniversary Class 1994 SMB St Thomas held in Steamboat BBQ Heritage Garden, Jalan Nanas, Kuching, on 19/12/2014 ago.
Subsequently, efforts have been made by members of the Committee were elected during the ceremony, and finally "Alumni Thomian 94 Association" was officially established on 03.02.2015, under the approval of the state ROS Sarawak. The Association was represented by former students SMB St. Thomas, Kuching, a Form 5 graduate, Class of 1994, who was born in 1977.

GOALS

The establishment of this organization is aimed at:

1. Integrating former students "S.M.B. St. Thomas Heights - Class Form 5, 1994 and was born in 1977 ".

 (Includes kindergartens, primary and secondary schools)

2. Cultivate a spirit of friendship and understanding among the members.

3. Keeping the general welfare of the members based on their ability and the ability of the association.

4. Organize activities, cooperation or affiliation with organizations that are registered with the same purpose.
 

5. Fostering national unity and enhance friendship and a sense of belonging through the programs for organizations
 

6. Participate in the development and welfare programs that will benefit member organizations and communities.

"A REUNION 20 YEARS IN THE MAKING"

It have been 20 years , it has been since some of them last met and go their separate ways. But then, through Facebook, they were able to find each other and reconnect after all these years. And finally, on 19^th December 2014, SMB St. Thomas’s Class of 1994 gathered for a reunion at the Garden Heritage Steamboat and barbeque.

 

“The reunion initiatives, actually started few years back, when we started to find each other through Facebook, but it never happen,” said Ishkander Mohammad, one of the reunion organizing committee.

“We setup a Whatsapp group and after that, ideas pouring in, and finally here we are,” Iskhander added.

These SMB St. Thomas’s students, or Thomian as they fondly known, consisted of students born in the year 1977 and also 1976 from four different classes of Form 5 Science, 5 Arts 1, 5 Arts 2 and 5 Arts 3.

Gathering old friends can be very challenging as it involves time as well as geographical issues. “Some of us is either working outside Kuching, the peninsular, Sabah or even as far as Europe, thus achieving full attendance is an impossible task.” Said Sdr.Andre Ong, who is also one of the organizing committee..

“But the organizing team has agreed, whatever the numbers, the reunion must go on, hopefully it will kick start interest for future activities,” Andre added.

During the gathering, apart from games, karaoke sessions and lucky draw, an official committee was setup consist of Thomian Class of 1994 students. The formation of this committee also means that the group will be able to organize more activities for its members and families or even look into the welfare aspects if needed.

“I hope those who are not able to attend today, can join us in future activities, and we are also planning to register this committee into a registered entity,” said Sdr. Iskhander, the first  elected Chairman of the Thomian 94 Alumni Club.
